We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Construction Repair Manager. As part of our team in Melbourne, this position will involve managing a portfolio of claim repairs on a desktop basis, overseeing budget cost planning, issuing purchase orders, forecasting, and ensuring project completion within set budgets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, across the Commercial and Domestic sectors
  • Manage and supervise concurrent building and restoration reinstatement projects
  • Utilize job management software to provide regular updates and inform the management team
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, including maintaining safe working environments
  • Communicate effectively between all parties, including leading meetings with stakeholders

About You:

  • You possess good computer literacy
  • You have strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • You are proactive, with high initiative, drive, and leadership
  • You are committed to safety, with sound knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • You have demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deal with complex issues
  • You can manage and prioritize a busy workload with effective diary management
  • You are willing to contribute within a team environment and engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • You have experience in negotiation, facilitation, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders
