The power generation market continues to grow and evolve due to strong capacity demand signals that haven't existed for over a decade. Our Power Generation team is poised for monumental growth as we seek a qualified Senior Electrical Power Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams for power generation design projects including supporting in a traditional Owner's Engineering role.
  • Mentor young engineers.
  • Support in managing client relationships.
  • Lead marketing activities including proposal technical writing, fee builds, and work breakdown structure development in response to requests for proposals.
  • Design and engineer of record work experience with power plant systems required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program with an Electrical Power emphasis.
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering with an Electrical Power emphasis.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical power generation design.
  • Design experience with simple cycle and combined cycle power generation.
  • Previous experience with an engineering power consulting or EPC firm desired.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication, written and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently, as a lead on a multi-discipline consulting team, or as a lead on a small team are required.

This position includes less than 10% travel for meetings with clients and vendors as well as project site visits.
