We are seeking a highly skilled Power Generation Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power engineering and experience working with high-pressure boiler turbine units.

Job Responsibilities
  • Safe and cost-efficient operation of the high-pressure boiler turbine unit(s) and associated auxiliary equipment.
  • Participating in competency-based training, regulatory training, and on-the-job training to develop additional skills.
  • Maintaining personal safety and that of co-workers by adhering to Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Supporting environmental performance and ISO 14001 initiatives.

This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a planned work environment and travel throughout the province as needed.

Requirements
  • 2nd Class Power Engineer Certificate and at least three (3) years' experience in a similar setting.
  • Acceptable color vision for control monitoring.
  • Proven track record of maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
