The organization is seeking a dynamic professional to lead the Employer Partnerships Team, shaping meaningful employment pathways for veterans and partners by engaging employers nationally, educating them on the value veterans bring to the workforce, building strong networks, developing a program framework, and collaborating with internal specialists.

This role involves taking initiative, driving results, self-motivating in dynamic environments, networking across the Defence and Veteran community, educating and influencing employers, and creating non-traditional employment pathways through business development and stakeholder/customer relationship management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A collaborative mindset, strong team orientation, and genuine commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans and their families.
  • Proven ability to drive results, take initiative, and self-motivate in dynamic environments.
  • Confidence in networking and building a strong presence across the Defence and Veteran community, including educating and influencing employers.
  • Depth of experience in business development, stakeholder/customer relationship management, and creating non-traditional employment pathways.
  • Ability to develop, document, and continually improve business processes to enhance the client experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills enabling effective collaboration with internal specialists and external stakeholders.
  • A focus on quality stakeholder/client case management and recordkeeping.
  • Understanding of the ADF environment and its unique sensitivities ensuring culturally informed engagement.
  • Flexibility to work across broad geographical areas, including intra- and interstate travel.
  • Availability to participate in events and forums outside standard hours, including weekends when required.
  • A completed tertiary qualification in Business, HR, or a related field.
  • A current, unrestricted driver's license.
