Job Opportunity: EH&S Manager

In partnership with the NSW Government, a consortium is undertaking an exciting metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

This city-shaping project will provide significant economic stimulus for Western Sydney and requires collaboration among private sector partners.

We are seeking an Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team based in Sydney. As EHS Manager in Project (EHSMiP), you will ensure that all EHS activities are conducted safely and efficiently throughout the Turnkey project.

The mission of the EHSMiP is to achieve Zero Harm for all project members by identifying, monitoring, and analyzing environmental, health, and safety issues related to the installation part of the project.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying EHS-related statutory requirements, rules, regulations, and aspects from the contract with customers and consortium partners.
  • Supporting project management, site management, and operational activities regarding arrangements for EHS Management in Projects.
  • Carrying out project and site inspections as part of the overall audit and inspection program.

This role requires prior experience in EHS on large projects, preferably in the rail industry. A relevant EHS qualification, such as OSHA or NEBOSH, is also required.
