At AMCS Group, we are seeking a skilled Business Analyst/Software Implementation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our software implementation team, you will collaborate with our ANZ/Global technical delivery teams and report to the Head of Services & Delivery ANZ.

The Role

We are looking for an IT-savvy professional with a passion for delivering complex business solutions. You will work closely with our implementation, development, product, DevOps, and VTech teams to address questions and provide clarification on requirements during the delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and recommend solutions and strategies based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives, and needs.
  2. Understand customers' needs, determine solutions to meet those needs, and document these solutions in the form of user stories, use cases, and technical specifications that can be implemented by the delivery team.
  3. Run product demos to the customer.
  4. Work closely with the implementation, development, product, DevOps, and VTech teams to address questions and provide clarification on requirements during the delivery of projects.
  5. Learn how to prepare detailed Requirement Specification documentation with use cases, presentations, and other documents to explain requirements internally and externally.
  6. Ensure all reported data and information are accurate, consistent, relevant, and timely.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Business Requirements - experience to document Business Requirement Documents.
  2. User Stories - ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements or user stories.
  3. 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  4. 3+ years of experience in the software industry (CRM or ERP vendor experience an advantage).
  5. Degree in computer science or related field would be beneficial, but a real affinity for technology & software is key.
  6. Understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise solution concepts.
