About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant or Senior Tax Consultant to join our growing Corporate Tax team at Iris Software in Sydney. Our team works with leading entrepreneurs, private equity-backed companies, and founder-led businesses, providing expert tax advice and guidance to help them navigate the rapidly changing business and tax environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert tax advice to clients on the application of Australian tax laws.
- Develop and execute strategic tax planning and structuring advice for outbound groups.
- Provide post-deal taxation services and ad-hoc tax advice to acquired corporates.
- Advise clients on tax corporate governance policies and processes.
- Review corporate income tax returns.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients.
- Collaborate with our Partners to execute market development initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong tax technical knowledge relevant to trusts and private companies.
- Experience in Corporate Tax Advisory and Corporate Tax Compliance, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or corporate business consulting environment.
- Excellent accounting skills in the field of corporate tax.
- Ability to build strong and lasting business relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
