We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Flexibility Operations and Optimisation Specialist. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing, delivering, and maintaining digital tools to analyse, manage, and optimise flexible assets within our product portfolio.

Our retail energy business is at the forefront of low-carbon products, services, and technologies that help households manage their energy bills and emissions. The Flexibility Operations and Optimisation Specialist will work closely with our Head of Flexibility Technology to identify opportunities for us to find new sources of value and foster strong relationships with consumers.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Head of Flexibility Technology in efforts across the business unit to fulfil strategic objectives;
  • Developing, delivering, and maintaining digital solutions to analyse, manage, and optimise flexible assets;
  • Providing operational expertise and maintenance support for technical solutions developed for our portfolio, and others developed by third parties.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of energy markets, expert knowledge and experience of external and internal data sources in the energy sector, and highly competent skills in data analytics, modelling, and visualisation. They will also be able to work autonomously and use data for storytelling purposes to non-technical stakeholders.

This position is being offered as a part-time opportunity.
