Family Engagement Director Position

The Family Engagement Director plays a vital role in providing residential screening and parent education for youth and/or families who have requested our services.

This position works cooperatively with staff, acting as a field liaison between parents of placed youth and our agency. The Family Engagement Director provides time-limited aftercare support and networking depending on the youth's length of stay in our program.

The director engages community partners, such as sheriff offices, schools, churches, job fairs, shelters, and other community resources, to share our mission and seek out disadvantaged students that could benefit from our program.

Main Responsibilities
  • Recruit, orient, supervise, train, and evaluate family engagement specialists.
  • Supervise the request for service process and develop family education throughout the state.
  • Maintain contact with the program where the youth are located and meet with the youth at the program site and/or school no less than monthly.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries and requests for services within 24 hours.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in social work or a related field is required.
  • Licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in good standing within the state of Florida is mandatory.
  • Experience with personal computers is essential.
