Patient Financial Operations Specialist

We're seeking a part-time Patient Financial Operations Specialist to join our Adelaide team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage patient financial accounts across multiple disciplines, including creation and issue of patient estimates, generation of invoices, receipting, and debt collection.
- Effectively communicate treatment fee structures and attend to patient financial account enquiries in a friendly and timely manner.
- Provide support to clinicians by ensuring patients are fully informed of the billing system and funding mechanisms of Medicare and private health funds.
- Ensure debtors are managed effectively and in line with our Debt Management policy & procedure.
- Has experience in medical accounts processing, including knowledge of Medicare, DVA, and private health funds.
- Can use clinical administration systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Is flexible, motivated, and has strong organisational skills.
- Understands and can provide excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.
