As a key player in the Defence sector, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an APS 6 Project Support Officer. This exciting opportunity will see you work closely with our Transformation, Policy and Technology Directorate within Defence Export Controls Branch (DEC).
Job Overview
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering transformation activities that have a real impact on the future of Australia's Defence export control system. As an APS 6 Project Support Officer, you will be working on challenging projects that require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing business transformation strategies that drive innovation and efficiency;
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address key issues and opportunities;
- Providing expert advice and guidance to support the delivery of commercial support, prepare written materials, manage risks and issues, and drive the broader transformation agenda across the Defence Export Controls Branch;
- Supporting the development and implementation of policy and procedural changes to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Defence Export Control services.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
$94,353 - $107,475 per annum + up to 15.4% Superannuation.
