Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at an exciting time in our evolution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Supplier Quality Management System across Endeavour Group suppliers, ensuring the highest standards for safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Supplier Quality Management System to ensure compliance with Endeavour Group's food safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Define and document supplier quality requirements and clearly communicate Endeavour's expectations to suppliers.
- Monitor and manage supplier compliance with Endeavour Group's food safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the EGL Sourcing team to foster strong business relationships with suppliers.
- Facilitate resolution of quality, food safety, and compliance issues with suppliers.
- Perform initial and ongoing supplier qualification and implement corrective actions processes.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and manage non-conforming material from suppliers.
- Carry out supplier quality audits and assess manufacturing capabilities and ESG risks.
- Review documentation of inspection results and monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance.
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably at a food or drinks manufacturing company.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or equivalent study stream.
- Experience in Food Safety & Quality auditing (internal and/or external).
- Possesses the discernment to navigate problem-solving and decision-making independently, recognising when to escalate issues appropriately.
- Clear, confident, and honest communication in both written and oral communication.
- Adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Skilled at leveraging relationships and using influence to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Organised, able to work with competing deadlines, and prioritise tasks.
- Exceptional ability in cultivating strong and effective professional relationships.
- Comfortable with ad-hoc travel interstate and to New Zealand as required.
