Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at an exciting time in our evolution.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Supplier Quality Management System across Endeavour Group suppliers, ensuring the highest standards for safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Supplier Quality Management System to ensure compliance with Endeavour Group's food safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Define and document supplier quality requirements and clearly communicate Endeavour's expectations to suppliers.
- Monitor and manage supplier compliance, collaborate with the Sourcing team to foster strong business relationships, and facilitate resolution of quality, food safety, and compliance issues.
- Perform initial and ongoing supplier qualification, implement corrective and preventive actions processes, and conduct regular supplier performance reviews.
- Manage non-conforming material from suppliers, carry out supplier quality audits, assess manufacturing capabilities and ESG risks, and review documentation of inspection results.
- Monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance, and stay up-to-date with current and developing manufacturing trends that concern product quality, food safety, and compliance.
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably at a food or drinks manufacturing company.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or equivalent study stream.
- Experience in Food Safety & Quality auditing (internal and/or external).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Organized and able to work with competing deadlines, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and delivering results.
- Exceptional ability to cultivate strong and effective professional relationships.
- Comfortable with ad-hoc travel interstate and to New Zealand as required.
