">Responsibilities
  • Formulate and lead a new regional SRE team, establishing a high-performance culture grounded in psychological safety, continuous learning, and automation.
  • Drive technical direction for the AU team, ensuring strong execution across observability, reliability engineering, automation, and incident management.
  • Promote seamless handoffs and continuity of operations across time zones by collaborating with other regional SRE leaders.
  • Owning and refining SRE processes for the region, system health, performance, and availability are paramount.
  • Establish on-call procedures following industry best practices and participate in manager on-call duties.

Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience providing 24x7 production support for cloud-based systems with demonstrated leadership in managing operations for enterprise-class organizations during challenging situations.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical leadership or management roles.
  • Demonstrated experience with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Google, Azure).
  • Expertise in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with automation pipelines for cloud infrastructure and software using technologies like Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.
  • Understanding of NoSQL or relational databases and database fundamentals.
  • Experience maintaining distributed services on virtual machines and containers (Docker) with orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Leading new engineering teams, especially within globally distributed organizations, is highly desirable.
  • Large-scale, distributed systems or databases in public cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of secure multi-cloud operations (AWS, Azure, GCP) in compliance-conscious environments.
