About the Role

This position is responsible for providing spiritual and emotional support to residents, their families, and staff in a residential aged care setting.

The successful candidate will have strong personal and active Christian faith and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be well-developed in administrative and computer skills and able to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one pastoral visitation to all residents of the facility
  • Support new residents as they transition into residential aged care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide person-centered care
  • Provide pastoral End of Life care for residents
  • Offer pastoral support to staff and family members affected by grief and loss
