Job Title: Robotics Innovation Specialist

Are you passionate about robotics and skilled in engineering, design or manufacturing? Do you have a strong interpersonal skillset with experience in mentoring and developing students? This is an exciting opportunity to bring your industry expertise and passion for making into a hands-on environment at the Creator Space in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Becoming a role model, guiding students as they explore robotics, electronics and making through real-world experiences.
  • Supporting students with limited hands-on skills by being patient, approachable and keen to share knowledge and inspire confidence in others.
  • Contributing to shaping the growth of the service itself, helping to continuously improve, expand and innovate for the future.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Background in Engineering, Design or Manufacturing with some relevant industry experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing students.
  • Collaborative, curious and proactive approach to making and problem-solving.
  • Eligibility for an Australian Baseline Security Clearance and a Working with Children Check.
