Robotics System Specialist

At our organization, we're driving innovation in human-robot collaboration.

We're developing Abi, an emotionally intelligent humanoid robot designed to provide care and support to those who need it most.

As a member of our robotics team, you'll be hands-on with complex robotic subsystems, from actuators and sensors to embedded electronics.

You'll assemble, test, and maintain robots used in aged care and healthcare settings.

Your work will ensure Abi is reliable, safe, and ready for deployment worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, calibrate, and test robotic subsystems including joints, sensors, and motor arrays.
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs across electrical, mechanical, and embedded systems.
  • Support engineers in validating new hardware and software integrations.
  • Maintain robots used for development, demos, and customer deployments.
  • Document processes, test results, and maintenance logs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in robotics, mechatronics, or hardware workshop environments.
  • Practical skills in assembly, wiring, soldering, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
