Payment Product Manager

The Domestic Payment Product team is responsible for the product management and development of payment solutions. Reporting to the Chapter Lead, Payments Product Management, you will be part of the Domestic Payments Crew who drives payment usage and conversion through channel engagement, frontline initiatives, process improvement, enhanced reporting.

You will be responsible for obtaining information from various sources to generate business insights on performance and customer behaviour against key objectives. You will also be accountable for driving product performance, continuous improvement, risk buy-down initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.

  • Deep knowledge of Direct Entry, BPAY and Cheques, including understanding of relevant scheme requirements.
  • Representing at respective scheme workshops.
  • Strong proactive risk management and delivering risk initiatives to strengthen product risk profile.
  • Leading and coaching junior team members, building overall team capability.
  • Delivering product features or process enhancements, internal and external marketing, communication and training, relationship building activities.
  • Monitoring business results of recently introduced processes and recommending modifications in product features, process, and marketing approaches.
  • Managing risks associated to products.
  • Fostering strong relationships across the product value chain.

We're interested in hearing from people with deep understanding of domestic payments processes and sound knowledge of the Financial Services Industry (at least 5 years' experience). Experience in Product Management, project delivery, stakeholder management, problem solving capabilities are highly regarded.
