Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Pre-Sales Engineering team as a Technical Advisor. This role will play a key part in supporting our sales functions and equipping our salespeople with the technical resources they need to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to provide consultative support for organizations evaluating our platform.
  • Provide tailored product demonstrations to showcase the value of our solution.
  • Identify customer pain points and challenges, and align our solutions to meet those needs.
  • Support direct and partner sales teams with product-related questions and skill development.
  • Build relationships with partners through technical enablement and co-selling activities.
  • Assist prospects with setup and configuration of free trials to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Provide technical Q&A to prospects as they progress through trial, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Determine prospect readiness to enter a formal sales cycle, ensuring we're well-positioned for success.
  • Analyze implementation best practices to advise on the quickest path to customer value.
  • Identify common technical issues and themes that could be addressed through product development, automation, or self-serve initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts, making them accessible to a wide range of audiences.
  • Comfortable speaking with technical evaluators and IT leaders, adapting communication style to suit the audience.
  • Desire and ability to learn new complex concepts, staying up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a technical Sales Engineering or similar role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud/SaaS technologies, including platforms and ecosystems.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory environments, including design, deployment, and management.
  • Knowledge of network architecture, including protocols, devices, and security measures.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard authentication and authorization protocols, such as SAML, OIDC/OAuth, LDAP, RADIUS.
  • Experience with MDM, RMM, or similar endpoint solutions, as well as familiarity with MFA technologies like TOTP, WebAuthn.
  • Proven experience configuring and deploying identity and/or directory solutions, with a focus on scalability and security.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell, with experience in automating tasks and workflows.
  • Success in both direct and channel/partner sales cycles, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
