Personal Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Specialist to join our team. As a Personal Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create personalized plans to teach skills and provide support to individuals served in their home and in the community.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment by following all recommendations as defined by the Life Planning Team.
  • Maintain high-quality teaching standards by continuously evaluating and improving your methods.
  • Provide daily living assistance and transportation support to individuals served, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Attend regular training sessions and meetings to stay updated on best practices and meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license is required for this role.
  • You must be willing to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and possess excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment is essential.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued.
