Enriching Talents: An Educational Support Role

We are seeking a part-time Primary Enrichment Learning Support Assistant to assist teachers in supporting gifted and talented students.
This role involves providing differentiated in-class support, facilitating extension activities, and contributing to enrichment programs that cater to the needs of advanced learners.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background, with a minimum Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support. Experience working with gifted and talented students or a keen interest in supporting their development is highly desirable.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers, students, and parents. Proficiency in administrative tasks and Microsoft Office 365 is also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support to gifted and talented students within the classroom setting
- Design and facilitate extension activities for individuals and small groups
- Contribute to the development and implementation of enrichment programs that foster advanced learning
Requirements:
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support (or willingness to pursue)
- Experience working with gifted and talented students (or strong interest in supporting their development)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and Microsoft Office 365
