About This Opportunity

This is a fantastic chance for you to contribute to the development of large-scale maritime facilities. As part of our National Maritime Team, you will be involved in designing and planning activities for various industries such as defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability.

You will apply your existing experience across these different industries and gain exposure to new and interesting projects. You will be supported by other disciplines across KBR and partners.

Our team works on clean energy infrastructure, boating facilities, wharf and port infrastructure, and asset remediation.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structural design services from concept to construction phase support.
  • Ensure technical excellence in structural design, including reinforced concrete and steel in the marine environment.
  • Evaluate and report on ports, harbours, coastal works and marine structures.
  • Design berthing and mooring systems.
  • Work with structural analysis software (SPACE GASS, Strand 7, IDEAStatica).

About You

  • 5-15 years experience in structural design.
  • Experience working with local governments, port clients, and/or the Defence sector.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer or ability to get chartership within agreed timeframe.
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering.
