Senior Tax Accountant Role Summary

This role involves delivering key tax outcomes, including corporate tax returns, FBT, BAS and PAYG compliance, and statutory accounts under IFRS. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Tax Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver corporate tax returns and support FBT, BAS and PAYG compliance
  • Assist with statutory accounts under IFRS and coordinate with external auditors
  • Manage tax and statutory filings for the entity
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and tax reporting packages
  • Support SOX documentation and compliance processes
  • Partner with finance and operational teams on projects and initiatives
  • Respond to ATO queries, audits and reviews

For this role, you will require:

  • CA/CPA qualification or working towards
  • Solid experience in corporate tax and/or statutory accounting
  • Strong knowledge of audit and statutory reporting requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and genuine interest in partnering with the business
