About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Executive Support Officer to join our team at Abacus Human Capital. As an AO4 Executive Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the SEQ Operations Executive Director in managing the Office of the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, including managing the diary, scheduling meetings, and preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Coordinate and prepare correspondence, ensuring quality responses to enquiries.
  • Manage the Office of the Executive Director Mailbox, action emails, and prepare routine correspondence.
  • Support coordination and monitoring of reports, including Briefing Notes, submissions, Business Cases, Strategic Planning, and HR Reporting.

Requirements:

  • Proven background in administration, with government experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of SharePoint is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in handling confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise across departments and with external stakeholders.
