We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Family Support Professional to provide individualised and tailored practical supports for vulnerable women, children and young people in crisis accommodation.
This role is instrumental in delivering high quality, safe and effective responses to family violence and child well-being. The position involves rostered hours of work including sleepover, days, weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and risk management to ensure the safety of clients and staff
- Safety planning and crisis accommodation support to address the needs of clients
Requirements:
- Degree or working towards a qualification in social work, welfare or psychology
- Experience in assessment and risk management, safety planning and crisis accommodation support
- Able to thrive working autonomously and as part of a dynamic team environment
