The City of Port Adelaide Enfield (PAE) is a forward-thinking local government organisation committed to delivering exceptional services to its community. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our IT team and lead the implementation of our new ERP solution.

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for working with business stakeholders, the IT team, and delivery partners to ensure the new ERP solution meets the needs of both Council and the community.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Participating in a wide range of projects, including leading small projects and project teams to achieve the objectives of the ICT Strategic Plan and Business Plans.
  • Scoping projects and developing business cases in support of the annual budgeting and planning process, including cost-benefit analysis.
  • Analysing existing business processes and identifying inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
  • Capturing and analysing 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business process models using Business Analysis methods and tools.
  • Effectively engaging, communicating, and presenting to diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Supporting organisational change management activities, including communication plans, training, and adoption.
  • Eliciting, capturing, prioritising, and validating functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to ensure alignment between business and technical requirements.
  • Supporting the UAT process to ensure the delivered solution meets documented requirements (requirements traceability).
  • Identifying and managing risk to mitigate issues with projects and ICT systems.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, information technology, or a relevant discipline.
  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in IT or a similar area, preferably with formal qualifications in Project Management and Business Analysis.
  • Proven experience with the implementation of business applications and technologies, with significant enterprise-wide business process change.
  • Strong knowledge of business and systems analysis principles and best practices.
