Homes Operations Manager – Sydney

Position Overview:
As the Homes Operations Manager at Agoda, your primary goal is to deliver outstanding leadership and strategic direction in enhancing the quality of accommodation offerings within the assigned market. This role focuses on empowering your team to surpass benchmarks in acquiring premium listings, ensuring supply vitality, and fostering a robust community of hosts while driving supply expansion in the region.
To achieve these objectives, you will leverage your strong analytical skills, comprehensive commercial insight, and the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor your team. Establishing and nurturing profitable long-term partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as managing initiatives that facilitate business growth, will be crucial for your success in this position.
This role is situated in the Sydney office.
About the Team:
Agoda Homes represents a vital segment of Agoda's business, catering to a diverse array of non-hotel lodging options, including serviced apartments, private homes, villas, farm stays, chalets, and more. As the market evolves, there is an increasing need to concentrate on enhancing supply and elevating quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, plan, and implement large-scale projects to enhance supply in targeted markets. Oversee the overall health of the assigned supply portfolio. Foster the development of the host community through initiatives such as forums, events, and participation in relevant market activities. Effectively communicate with both new and existing hosts via phone and in-person interactions to expand our business portfolio. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends and maintain Agoda Homes' competitive edge. Implement tracking tools for performance review and reporting against KPIs and targets. Analyze extensive data sets to uncover new growth opportunities for Agoda's business. Share pertinent data and insights with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and feedback for performance optimization. Collaborate with senior management on strategic vision and planning for the team.Qualifications:
At least 5 years of professional experience in sales or startup environments. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, both as a team leader and collaborator. Proven track record as a self-starter with the ability to think creatively and execute projects independently in a dynamic environment. Quick learner who thrives in and adapts well to change. Results-driven strategic thinker, assertive and proactive. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the capacity to attract hosts to our platform. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify high-impact opportunities and assess projects objectively. Ability to effectively promote the team's vision while securing buy-in from key stakeholders. A collaborative team player with a professional attitude and strong work ethic. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; database querying skills are a plus. Familiarity with API connections is an advantage.-
