Corporate Coverage Role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our corporate coverage team. As a graduate trainee, you will play a key role in conducting economic and industry analysis to provide valuable insights to drive business decisions.

  • You will support coverage bankers on credit and risk-related issues, including transaction support memos for corporate clients.
  • Liaise with business lines such as Infrastructure, Asset Backed Products, Debt Capital Markets, Acquisition Finance, Energy, Mining, and Real Estate to expand business opportunities.
  • Develop high-quality pitch books and marketing materials for internal and external presentations.
  • Manage client data, update internal databases, coordinate revenue tracking, and support budget forecasting.
  • Assist with the KYC process and documentation for onboarding new and existing clients.
  • Support roadshow event management, prepare briefing notes for C-suite client meetings, and record meeting minutes.
  • Assist with deal flows, including developing and reviewing deal checklists and coordinating the transaction approval process end-to-end.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
  • A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence and a National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
  • The ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, and right to work checks.
