Charterhouse Medical is seeking a highly skilled Anaesthetist to join our team at our hospital in Central Queensland.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a full-time or part-time, permanent Anaesthetist at our hospital, which is the main referral hospital for Central Queensland. As a senior member of the anaesthetic team, you will be responsible for pre- and peri-operative anaesthetic care of patients and will have input into the management of patients in the High Dependency Unit and in emergency situations when on duty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality anaesthetic care to patients
- Supervise and mentor junior anaesthetists and medical officers
- Participate in the management of patients in the High Dependency Unit and in emergency situations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of anaesthetic services
About Our Hospital:
Our hospital is a 305-bed facility that provides public health services across Central Queensland to a growing population of approximately 250,000 people. We have a strong focus on providing high-quality patient care and are committed to ongoing professional development and training.
Requirements:
- Hold the FANZCA or postgraduate qualifications and experience in anaesthetics which meet ANZCA requirements for practising in this position
- NZ FANZCA or
- IMG with training assessed by ANZCA and a substantially comparable outcome
