Dental Practice Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead our dental practice in Surry Hills Health Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our accredited dental practice, prioritizing strict infection control standards, exceptional dental procedures, and outstanding patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and inspire a dedicated team of dental assistants and receptionists
- Oversee management and coordinate purchase of dental stock for the centre
- Leadership and management of dental assistants and receptionists, including onboarding, training, and induction
- Championing Teachers Health core values and culture across the team
- Oversee patient bookings to ensure smooth operations and maximize productivity of the dental practice
- Monitor and review dental processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensure infection control policy and procedures are implemented and adopted by all dental employees and contractors
- Ensure the recording of accurate financial information for report generation
- Ensure compliance with ADA and AHPRA policies and guidelines
- Minimum 1 year's experience as a Dental Practice Manager
- Strong knowledge and application of infection control processes
- Experience managing and leading a team
- A positive and professional communication style with strong verbal and written communication skills
- An excellent attention to detail
- The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Dental Assisting Cert III or equivalent is required
- Previous experience with Oasis, Examine Pro, and HAMBS is beneficial
