Lead Educator Role

This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership position within our childcare center. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for supporting and guiding your team members in delivering high-quality early learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of children.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with national standards.
  • Build strong relationships with families and communicate effectively with them about their child's progress.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in long day care, particularly with nursery-aged children.
  • Solid understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • A current Working with Children Check (QLD Paid Blue Card).
