About this Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Medical Specialist to join our virtual health team. As a Consultant Physician, you will oversee and provide patient care, applying your medical knowledge and experience in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management of patients admitted to our virtual hospital.

This is a busy role that suits someone with hospital-based experience in acute general medicine. A high degree of clinical acumen is required for this position.

Role Overview

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with doctors, nurses, paramedics, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional care. Our consultants work 8-hour shifts across a 7-day roster, with flexibility based on other work commitments. You will also participate in an on-call 7-day roster, dependent on your FTE equivalent.

We are currently offering part-time and full-time positions (0.6 FTE or above) on a fixed-term basis with the possibility of extension. This opportunity will suit a senior specialist consultant with an interest in new and innovative healthcare technology.
