Job Opportunity: Pool Lifeguard

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of safety and enjoyment in our aquatic facilities. Your key duties will include:

  • Performing lifeguard duties, maintaining vigilant surveillance of the pool area, and supervising swimming activities to ensure policies, guidelines, and safety procedures are followed.
  • Warning swimmers of improper activities or danger and communicating pool regulations and water safety policies.
  • Administering first aid in the event of injury, rescuing swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administering CPR and/or artificial respiration if necessary.
  • Evaluating conditions for safety and initiating emergency action plans as required.
  • Inspecting pool facilities, equipment, and water to ensure they are safe and usable.
  • Supervising and assisting with cleaning the pool and related facilities and equipment, assisting with water tests and records, and adding chemicals to pool water as directed.
  • Instructing or assisting classes in fundamentals of swimming as needed.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a certification in Pool Lifeguard or equivalent, including CPR/AED and First Aid.
  • Ability to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness.
  • Demonstrated lifeguard skills and experience in accordance.
