Aquatic Systems Design Specialist

Job Description

We're a leading nationwide commercial aquatic consultant providing engineering and documentation services to the commercial swimming pool and theme park industries.

This role will be based in our office and involve creating documentation sets using AutoCAD and Revit in both 2D and 3D to communicate engineering designs for hydraulic systems, filtration, sanitation, and circulation systems involved with commercial swimming pools and other aquatic elements.

The Role:
  • Plan, prepare, and create detailed drawings of commercial swimming pool and theme park infrastructure using specialized software.
  • Review, revise, and mark up existing drawing sets to meet client and company specifications.
  • Produce as-built documentation from revised drawing sets.
  • Generate document transmittals for distribution.
  • Develop BIM deliverables utilizing associated software such as clash detection tools and data management platforms.
  • Analyzing and implementing project managers' BIM execution plans.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist drafting leader with block generation for inclusion into an AutoCAD block library.
  • Complete all tasks in accordance with relevant safety, environmental, and quality policies.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A tertiary qualification in Drafting or relevant trade experience.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with ability to work to deadlines.
  • Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proven work history in a commercial setting.
