Job Description

Social Futures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team in providing accommodation services. This role involves working collaboratively with key stakeholders, service providers, and participants to empower service users and develop their capacity and resources for positive change.

This is a part-time position of 22 hours per week (spread across 5 days). If you have relevant qualifications, skills, and experience working in the homelessness sector and are a passionate individual dedicated to making positive change in the community, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote client-centred, strength-based, and trauma-informed practice consistent with the Social Futures Practice Framework;
  • Provide high-quality interventions and/or case management;
  • Support participants with complex and unmet needs to access services;
  • Complete needs and risk assessments to ensure quality service responses.

This position requires excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with all people to ensure effective relationships.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science, or social welfare, health promotion, or similar;
  • Experience providing high-quality customer-centred individual and/or family therapeutic interventions and/or case management;
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and administrative skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines;
