Job Title: Accommodation Manager

We are seeking an Accommodation Manager to join our team at a leading hospital. As a key member of our Accommodation Services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the provision of quality accommodation to patients, relatives, and members of the public.

About the Role:

  • Manage and operate the lodge on a 24-hour basis, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Provide high-quality, comfortable standard of accommodation and service, meeting the needs of diverse guests.
  • Manage the provision of support and assistance to guests, promoting a family environment that encourages participation in activities and functions.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness of the lodge, rooms, grounds, and gardens, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Manage catering system, linen stock, and operation of the booking system, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills with an ability to interact empathetically, understanding the needs of diverse guests.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative approach to teamwork with others in accommodation services and engineering, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar management role, preferably in a similar lodging style arrangement, motor inn, or small accommodation venue, demonstrating expertise in hospitality and customer service.
  • Commitment to maintaining quality standards and continuous improvement, driving excellence in all aspects of the role.
  • Availability and flexibility to work a 24-hour roster, multiple days per month, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
