As a key member of our Home Buying team, you will play a pivotal role in driving transformation and delivering strategic initiatives that impact the lives of Australians. With a deep understanding of customer needs and expectations, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of our Home Buying business, encompassing distribution through proprietary and third-party channels, as well as retention and customer experience.

Within this team, your responsibility will focus on the transformation of our Home Buying lenders' mortgage insurance low deposit premium products, developing a comprehensive strategy to meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives that create value for our customers, while also ensuring the embedding of product changes across the organization.

Key responsibilities include contributing to product reviews and governance requirements, participating in quarterly business planning cycles, prioritizing the backlog, and managing delivery expectations. You will also lead requirements elicitation workshops, capture and articulate requirements, and communicate business and customer value to stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include contributing to assessments of dependencies associated with risk compliance implications, managing operational risk incidents, and issues related to product upliftment and implementing controls required.

We are interested in hearing from individuals who have previous experience in product management or business analysis, particularly in financial services. Strong written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder engagement skills, knowledge of operations compliance risk management frameworks, and planning time management skills are essential. Experience working in an agile environment is preferred, and a risk mindset is expected of all CommBank employees.
