Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team in Falls Creek, VIC. As a Snow Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Cook, Chef, Commis Chef, Chef de Partie, or Sous Chef, depending on the position. They will possess knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and culinary trends, with a strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Follow instructions and work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Monitor food inventory and assist in managing stock levels and ordering supplies.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff and share culinary knowledge to foster a positive team atmosphere.
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize food waste.
Requirements
  • Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred for higher positions.
