Mountain Resort Leader
About the Role:This is a senior leadership position that oversees the management of diverse services across a range of operations, including customer service, environmental services, assets, ski patrol and childcare, marketing and events.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills combined with exceptional interpersonal skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through exceptional engagement, while fostering a collaborative and positive culture for a diverse, seasonal workforce.
Key Responsibilities:- To lead a team to ensure the successful operation of various services all year round to both visitors and locals.
- To oversee a broad asset base and operations to ensure the highest quality of services are delivered.
- To drive tourism and investment initiatives that have the capacity to generate visitation and yield amongst current and emerging markets and position the resort for growth.
- To effectively develop and maintain key relationships and thrive in engaging with important stakeholders across the organisation.
- A proven successful leader with a depth of experience working at an executive level in a complex environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and people skills.
- Experience in the government or tourism sector would be advantageous.
