About the Role

We are seeking an experienced facilities professional to join our team at Colliers, where you will play a key role in contributing to exceptional building operations and presentation standards.

As part of our Real Estate Management division, you will be responsible for managing key relationships with tenants and service providers, while also making recommendations to improve the environmental performance of our clients' assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building Compliance and Engineering Standards: Ensure building compliance and drive initiatives on engineering standards across the business.
  • Team Development and Portfolio Management: Develop and enhance the team's portfolio of services.
  • Property Operations and Maintenance: Manage the presentation and day-to-day operations of allocated properties, including security, maintenance, and safety.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, clients, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Financial Management: Review the monthly operating expenditure against budget.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Work with Property Manager to produce monthly client reports as required and manage data within the facilities management software.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance: Prepare and ensure all planned preventative maintenance is executed in accordance with schedules.
  • Asset Compliance and Reporting: Ensure each asset remains compliant with the required standards and provide monthly reporting on the operation of each asset.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Facilities, Engineering, or Building Management role in a commercial environment.
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
  • Experience using computer-based building maintenance and management systems.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong understanding of building services and systems, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and build positive and productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
