Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy and maintain our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Internet connections, cabling, virtualization platforms and storage area networks.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage the security of systems in-house and manage application information transfers efficiently.

About This Role:

This role involves designing, deploying and maintaining infrastructure using the latest technology to ensure all available systems function efficiently and faultlessly.

The candidate must be confident, trustworthy and have good work ethics, being reliable and dependable.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Virtualization - VMware vSphere / ESXi
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure / VMware Horizon
  • Basic Networking experience including LANs, WANs and VPNs
  • Backup systems and solutions - Veeam
  • Cloud-based systems – Office 365, Azure, AWS
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Good understanding of Datacentre Operations
  • Datacentre infrastructure and facilities experience
