The role of the Infrastructure and Data Centre Engineer is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and proactive management of our IT infrastructure. This includes cloud platforms, storage systems, and IT applications.

They must possess strong work ethics, be reliable, dependable, confident, and trustworthy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure using the latest technology.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure all available systems within the organization function efficiently and faultlessly.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role.
Preferred Skills:
  • Virtualization - VMware vSphere / EXSI
  • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure / VMware Horizon
  • Basic Networking experience including LANs, WANs, and VPNs
  • Backup systems and solutions - Veeam
  • Cloud-based systems – Office 365, Azure, AWS
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Good understanding of Datacenter Operations
  • Datacentre infrastructure and facilities experience
