About the Role

Help at Hand Support Services is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team in Keilor East, providing person-centred care to individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing daily support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and social participation.
  • Developing and implementing individualised support plans to meet clients' needs and goals.
  • Working collaboratively with clients, their families, and other support agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting to management as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum Cert III in Disability or equivalent experience.
  • Current Working with Children Check and International Police Check (if applicable).
  • Fully insured and reliable vehicle for transportation.
  • First aid/CPR certificates and a valid Australian driver's license.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Arrangements

  • Casual position with varied shifts, including afternoons, days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Rotating roster to ensure adequate coverage for clients and services.
