Management Accountant Assistant Position

This is a key role in the Management Accounts Team, assisting with the preparation of management accounts to trial balance and supporting the Management Accountant with reporting requirements.

Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare general ledger journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  • Review Tropics Revenue Recognition reports and monthly prepare Revenue Recognition Reconciliation.
  • Analysis of Discounts and Promotions and cost allocation.
  • Maintain Accruals and Prepayments schedules with ongoing monthly analysis to ensure balances are cleared.
  • Assist with refunds and various ad-hoc reporting as required.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills enabling effective liaison and interaction with management.
  • Strong attention to detail and an organized systematic approach to tasks.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills across Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • A strong work ethic and a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
