Financial Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to assist in the preparation of management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Career Advancement Opportunities:

This position plays a key role in our Management Accounts Team, supporting the development of financial strategies and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and review general ledger journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  2. Analyse Tropics Revenue Recognition reports and prepare monthly Revenue Recognition Reconciliation.
  3. Examine Discounts and Promotions and allocate costs effectively.
  4. Manage Accruals and Prepayments schedules with ongoing monthly analysis to maintain balance.
  5. Assist with refunds and various ad-hoc reporting as required.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with management.
  • Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to tasks.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • A strong work ethic and track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
