We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our team at Westhaven, a Baptcare Residential Aged Care facility in Footscray, Victoria.

This part-time role provides comprehensive administrative support under the direct supervision of the Residential Care and Services Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reception and office administration tasks, including providing customer service, managing records, and fostering relationships with families and external stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Actively listen to consumers and understand their needs to achieve individual goals.
  • Adhere to care plans and follow structured schedules as directed by registered nurses.
  • Document consumer progress and outcomes accurately in designated Baptcare records.
  • Engage in continuous improvement processes within the home.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with families and collaborate with external agencies to enhance quality of life for consumers.
  • Promptly report workplace risks and consumer-related risks to management.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience working in aged care facilities.
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric approach with a genuine passion for working in aged care.
  • Display exceptional attention to detail, integrity, reliability, and maintain a positive and adaptable attitude.
  • Exhibit a track record of maintaining confidentiality and working effectively within a team.
