At TeamKids, we provide exceptional before and after school care services to children. Our team is seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of 2IC in our Newport program.

About the Role
  • This position involves assisting the Director of Service in delivering an outstanding experience for the children in our care.
  • You will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and interact with parents to address their queries.
  • You will also engage with the school community by attending events and assemblies when necessary.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to play and have fun with primary school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of enriching experiences for children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and the school community.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • A strong passion for working with children.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in Before and After School Care or education is highly desirable but not essential.
