Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapy Lecturer to join our team at The University of Notre Dame Australia. As a key member of our School of Health Sciences, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical education and research in occupational therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver occupational therapy courses, including tutorials, practical classes, and clinical sessions.
- Conduct research in occupational therapy, aligned with the university's strategic priorities.
- Supervise honours and postgraduate students, providing guidance and support in their research and industry projects.
- Collaborate with academic colleagues, clinical facilities, and external stakeholders to ensure good governance and quality in clinical education.
- Participate in professional development activities, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Postgraduate qualification in occupational therapy or a related area.
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as an occupational therapist.
- PhD or near completion of PhD in occupational therapy or a related area (desirable).
- Experience in teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level in medical, health, or professional practice-based education settings.
- Significant clinical experience and knowledge/network within the clinical education domain.
