Job Overview
Our organization seeks a dedicated and skilled General Surgery Resident Medical Officer to join our healthcare team. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting senior surgeons in the operating theatre, providing high-quality patient care and support, and contributing to a dynamic team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist senior surgeons in the operating theatre with surgical procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients undergoing surgery
- Participate in ward rounds and contribute to patient assessments and management plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- Completion of medical school and possession of a medical degree
- Current registration with the relevant medical board
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Working Conditions
- Work in a dynamic hospital setting with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care
- Assist in the operating theatre with surgical procedures
- Participate in ward rounds and contribute to patient assessments and management plans
Education and Training
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or training (e.g. fellowship programs)
