Title: Surgical Trainee
This is a registrar position administratively, but not functionally, and aligns with the registrar term dates.
The Surgical Trainee will be part of the RMO roster and will function as a senior RMO. The role includes night shifts, administrative duties, and may require covering for registrar leave if necessary.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a challenging and stimulating environment, with a strong focus on patient care and professional development.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- To manage emergency surgical cases with minimal supervision;
- To participate in the development of comprehensive treatment plans;
- To deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring efficient use of resources;
- To collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Ambitious and driven individual with a passion for surgery;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
